TMC400 Backup Utility Software
General InstructionsThe general procedure for installing this utility on a PC, which may or may not have access to the worldwide web, is as follows:
1. Download a self-extracting executable file to the hard drive of this PC.
2. Create an installation disk by expanding the executable file to a 31/2" diskette.
3. Use the installation disk to install the utility on this or any other PC.
Detailed Instructions
1) Download Self-Extracting Executable File

A) Create a directory (folder) on your hard drive named "UPGRADE".
B) RIGHT mouse click HERE..
C) Click on "Save Target As"
D) Locate and select "UPGRADE" directory in "Save In" box.
E) Click on "SAVE".
2) Create Installation Disk by Expanding Executable File
to a 31/2" Diskette

A) Place the diskette in the floppy drive.
B) From your Windows"desktop, choose "START" and then "RUN".
C) Select or type the hard drive root directory (typically "C:\") in the "OPEN" box, and click "OK".
D) Locate and open the "UPGRADE" directory (folder).
E) Locate and double click on the "DISK1.EXE" file, which will open an "Extract To" pop-up window.
F) Click on "EXTRACT", which will complete the creation of the installation disk.
3) Use the Installation Disk to Install the Utility on This
or Any Other PC.

A) Insert the diskette into the floppy drive of the computer that is to
receive the software.
B) From your Windows"desktop, Choose "START" and then "RUN".
C) Select or type "a:\setup" in the "OPEN" box.
D) Follow the instructions on the setup screens to complete the installation of the software.
