The material or surfaces to be marked are key indicators of the kind of Marking System you need. Other things to consider are allowable marking time and how the system will fit into your particular production process. Typically, our PINSTAMP Systems can handle a variety of surfaces since marking depth can be adjusted by air pressure and pin stroke. Metals harder than a RC60 may require Laser marking.
